Master the art of housekeeping, cleanliness, and guest comfort in hotel operations.
The guest room defines comfort and satisfaction. Common room types include Single, Double, Twin, Suite, Family, and Accessible Rooms. Each must be clean, functional, and welcoming, with proper lighting, fresh bedding, and working amenities.
Cleanliness is the foundation of hotel reputation. Follow the “Five Steps”: Remove clutter, Wipe surfaces, Vacuum, Sanitize, and Inspect.
Supervisors inspect rooms daily, checking furniture, lighting, drainage, and cleanliness. Any issues must be reported and fixed immediately.
Always knock three times and say “Housekeeping!” before entering. Never touch guests’ belongings unnecessarily. Deliver items with both hands and a smile.
Never disclose guest information or allow outsiders into rooms. Check electrical safety daily and conduct nightly patrols.
